We foster Dachshunds and Dachshund mixes for DREAM. This is most likely the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. I want to keep every foster that comes into our home, but if I do that, the house would be too full and I would not be able to keep helping. It is soooooo rewarding to be able to help them learn how to be part of a family so that they can find their loving forever homes!
DREAM is an all-volunteer, all-donation supported rescue for dachshunds and dachshund mixes. We do not have a shelter; we operate solely out of our wonderful foster homes. We have almost no overhead, so all donations go directly to helping needy dogs. Nothing like that right now, but what a great idea! I’ll work with Kristin to get something going where all DREAM fosters and adopters can post updates on their little ones.

Steve, I’m sorry it took so long but we do now have a place for DREAM fosters & adoptive parents to post stories & photos of their DREAM babies. It is located here: http://dreamhappytails.org/ There is nothing there yet but we hope to have some posts there soon. If you’d like to have access to post updates on your Lily Brooks please give me a shout and I’ll set you up so that you can post updates whenever you like.
